I know I posted this exchange from J. Fishbeck, ADI's IR guy, when I got it back in Septmeber, but thought it would be worth reposting given today's announcement with Siemens:

"We anticipate that this first Othello customer could be
generating revenues for this product at the rate of approximately $75 million annually by mid next year. This first Othello design win is for a GSM handset. (Ed. note; I don't think he was factoring additional DSP revenue into this figure, since my question was Othello specific).

The rest of his Sept. 27 reply is worth reviewing:

"We are also close to being able to sample a CDMA version of the [Othello] product. We also expect that this technology is applicable for other products, such as wireless PDAs. There are other potential design wins for Othello being worked on, but nothing that we can discuss externally yet."
