My piccolo_pete phase is a painful one for me. It was fraught with fears of inadequacy and self doubt. I would prefer to put it behind me and pursue my new vocation as a firework that shoots up really high, really fast and then fizzles out near the top and subsequently falls painfully back to earth. I am working on a parachute that deploys at the top though, so that the trip back to earth is less painful.
