holy cow! I am a bit behind things and I just got to look at the sentiment figures in Saturday's Barrons. Cant believe it, AAII went to 62% bullish and only 8% bearish (that's 90%! bullish for all non-neutrals) - bearish percent for Investors Intelligence actually went down while bullish percent went up - small changes but in totally the wrong direction, and more bullish than when Meisler first indicated in SEPTEMBER that those sentiment numbers had to get more bearish for a bottom to be possible the Barrons sentiment numbers confirm the Ameritrade Index which continues to show huge buying by individual investors into last week's declines... what we have here, I believe, is an investor who has just flipped 100 "heads" in a row and is CONVINCED the next toss will be "tails". This market will not bottom until the average investor never expects to see another tail again Bob
