I watched Gore speak today. He was playing the "smooth southern gentlemen" b.s. schtick I heard a million times from southeasterners while at Duke, awhile ago. But now, even his own state of Tennessee, and even his own electoral district, who know him best, caught on and cast him aside, wondering what the heck the rest of us are possibly thinking

Gore's just trying to smooth over and distract us from the bull**** that's going on with his Daley team which is massaging the Florida ballots. It's been said before that Gore would crawl over broken glass on his bare hands and knees for the presidency. It scares me to think that somebody would put himself so much before his country.
