Aus, The clarity of the photos is incredible. I have printed off several full sheet photos(8 1/2 X 11) and they are excellent. I use the Regular option on my Nikon 990, so the resolution is really good to start with. You can insert a CF or SmartMedia card directly into the printer or use the PC interface, which is via USB(parallel port also available). The standard print option for the CF card is to print thumbnails of the entire card so you can select which photos you want. There are some really neat gallery features, but I haven't got that far yet. The one thing I'm having trouble with is getting the full page photo to center properly. It starts on the edge of the front edge but leaves about an inch space on the back edge. HP Support was not able to help so far. Cooters
