I thought I replied to your message, but maybe I didn't hit the right button. What I said was that I certainly didn't challenge your authority about being in a bombed German city. I just got to be friends once with someone who was in Berlin at the end, who told me "during the bombing, either you got killed or you didn't. But after it stopped it was so BORING." So I was stretching things a little. In any case, even in the USA, this is nowhere near as bad as the 1968 Democratic convention or the climate in the country in 1970 after Cambodia and the Kent State massacre. Now to make sure this gets posted.
