If the majority members of Congress were Democrat, they might well ask Clinton to stay on, but they are Republican. If this matter is not resolved then Denny Hastert, Speaker of the House, or some other Republican will act as President. Perhaps you have no idea how much Clinton is hated by Republicans, but I assure you that there are calendars all over this nation which count down to his eminent departure in 56 days.
