FL - you can't extend the deadline for your reasons unless you waive the deadlines in all counties and permit statewide manual recounts. The Democrats switch the theory depending upon what judge says what where. They cannot have it all ways; sooner or later the people wake up and reject all the lawyering. 102.112 seems clear to me. The Secretary of State in Florida is a Republican - so what. Two of the three election commissioners in Palm Beach are Democrats - one's rumored to be thinking of running for Congress - the County judge there voted against full recount; it went two to one against him. When do you enforce the law and when do you waive it by wiggling around? Should the Republicans have challenged the commissioners' rights to exercise their discretion by seeking a mandatory injunction against that? But Dwight and you are suggesting the Democrats will succeed in the same strategy against the Secretary of State. This is outlawyering; but the higher ground is not occupied by the ones you think. John (Rick, I hope you're sleeping - gg)
