European Markets : FTSE +1.13%, DAX +1.32% -- European stocks gains were paced by the tech and telecom sectors after Nasdaq bounced from its worst levels yesterday. Philips rose 6.7%, Bookham rose 14% and Marconi rose 5.9%. Vodafone reported a 24% rise in H1 profit and expected further significant improvement over the coming fiscal year. from briefing VOD is the second telco to report a good quarter after ALA. Wireless sector may get a lift. Jack
