Intelliquis Announces Completion of Phase 1 of Its Lazarus Project
SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelliquis International Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: INTQ), a provider of communications and Web-site
marketing software, today announced the completion of phase 1 of its Lazarus
Project.
The Lazarus Project -- which will be marketed under the name PC Rescue --
is an ISA-card-based recovery system that allows computer users to restore
operating system failures without needing a boot disk or recovery CD-ROM.
"Most of the problems associated with an operating system crash are caused
by a corrupted file fragment or a dangling file," said Mark Tippets,
Intelliquis vice president of sales. "The Lazarus Project enables users to
recover valuable system information without endangering their files and
computer settings."
The Lazarus Project allows users to save their most crucial system
information, including hard-drive partitions and file allocation tables, on a
flash-ROM chip built into the ISA card. To restore data, users simply hit
"control-alt" on their keyboards, and their information and settings will be
restored. The card works with DOS, Linux, and all Windows platforms, and can
be installed simply by opening the computer case and placing the card into an
empty ISA slot.
Tippets said phase 1 is designed primarily for small business and home
users who want a quick and efficient recovery system while remaining
cost-effective. Future phases of the Lazarus Project will be developed for
the OEM and computer component markets.
Phase 1 of the Lazarus Project has a suggested retail price of $49.95, and
is initially available through Intelliquis' Web site. The product will be
available in most retail outlets within the next 30 days.
