If they are not to bullish about their own co by selling it out this way, at the bottom of the mkt with such a woeful premium to a newly listed co, I think existing shareholders should make the worst case scenario

Exactly what I've been thinking. There are tons of deals on hold right now as most companies don't want to sell out at a price far below where they have been trading for most of the past year unless they get cash or a stock currency that is much stronger and more stable than their own. To sell out to a company that's only been public for a few months (and hence hasa stock currency arguably much less stable) and has had a market cap below Adap for much of that time really makes me wonder if people were just looking for an exit strategy.
