I will now do some research into that chart pattern in conjunction with the Spike Formation. Perhaps there is a correlation between the two patterns that I have not observed. In close research, I have noted that you can get 2 different results: 1.- If the Spike Formation is "capped", not much happens after that. 2. However, if the Spike Formation is "uncapped", usually a split will follow, most probably, 2 for 1.
