Canadian dollar ...

The Canadian dollar: a subject I have little expertise with, because I have so few of them.

This morning, Nov 14th, on the front page of the Globe and Mail, Canada's national newspaper, appeared an article where a Canadian born Nobel prize winner (in Economics) has looked at the tax plans proposed by the federal parties and has concluded that the Alliance plan the soundest and most likely to lead to future economic growth and prosperity.

Winning a Nobel prize in economics doesn't necessarily guarantee one's opinions on tax matters are sound, but if I had to choose between what he says and what desperate politicians and special interest mouthpieces say, I know who'd have my ear.

Cheers, PW.
