<ot>Hi SbH - it appears that the *punch hole* ballot in PB county of FL is not really good technologies. My 1st experience of computer was paper tapes and key punches [I know, "Elves is dead, and I don't feel so good myself" <vbg>!] When one compares this ballot design with those 60s computing technologies, it really makes the latter looks like Buck Roger! If the election is far apart, no one cares. However, with the fate of the nation hangs by a few hundred votes [out of 6MM, if not 100MM,] the apparent loser would be crazy not to demand a closer look. Obviously, the apparent victor would be crazy to allow for a closer examination. Nature of politics!

best, Bosco
