Estephen: the 0.17-micron process will improve speed grades of memories by more than 30%, enabling 1-GHz RDRAMs, according to Samsung. Interesting that Samsung didn't comment on DDR plans. It looks like unbuffered DDR's would have a hard time boosting speed beyond 266 MHz under 0.17 micron process. john
