One of the clips I saw on video coming out of a lawyer while in the hearing before the judge on the Bush injunction request (to have the hand count halted entirely) was that one heavily Democratic county had 10,000+ presidential votes not counted due to what they suspected was hanging chad (v. double punching.) The attorney pleaded with the judge not to penalize these people by denying them their vote. Apparently it was a compelling enough argument.
