As mentioned in the Oct. 19, 2000 press release, Innovative Weaponry Inc. (IWI) and Trident Technologies Corporation (Trident) will be traveling to several conferences and meetings this month.
IWI representatives are in San Diego this week for the 107th Annual IACP Conference: Law Enforcement Education and Technology Exposition. The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference is held Nov. 11-15 -- www.theiacp.org.
IACP, with more than 17,000 members from over 100 different countries, is the world's oldest and largest nonprofit membership organization of police executives of international, federal, state and local agencies of all sizes.
Representatives of Trident will be attending the Hawaiian Fire Chiefs Association annual meeting on the island of Maui Nov. 16-20. The Hawaiian Fire Chiefs Association is composed of all Hawaiian fire chiefs from cities, counties, and state, federal and military agencies and they will be attending the meeting. Also in attendance will be fire chiefs from Continental U.S. states like California, Oregon and Washington.
In helping to save the pristine environment of the Hawaiian Islands, Trident representatives Doug Spring and Buren Palmer will be making a presentation of the SeaPatch and ProMag to the Maui County Fire Department fire chief Clayton Ishikawa. Trident believes that their attendance at this annual meeting will result in new sales for the division.
Trident has also entered into sales agreements with Kirby Inland Marine, BASF Germany, Hammond Louisiana Fire Department as well as Rubicon Chemical. They also have verbal agreements with the Louisiana State Police, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, and numerous others as the new 2001 budget goes into place.
Trident representatives will also be at the Clean Gulf Conference Nov. 14-16 -- www.cleangulf.org. The 10th Annual Clean Gulf 2000 is hosted and supported by state and federal agencies and emergency response associations and will provide comprehensive coverage of the oil and haz-mat spill industry.
