Barry, Short of a Florida Supreme Court order. I see no reason for the Secretary of State to extend the 5 PM deadline. I know the circuit judge said the way he was reading the law she had discretion. Secretary of State claims that regardless of what the judge claims, she still claims she has no discretion in this matter and must follow the letter of the law. The way I read it is that the judge didn't have enough guts to make the decision for her.
