Generally, I think I'm only a little better than JK Galbraith at predicting the onset of recessions, so I rarely try. One probably wouldn't be going too far out on a limb, however, to suggest that growth will be subdued in the coming year, at least as compared with recent years. But a recession, well I wouldn't bet on it- in fact, I guess I'm betting to the contrary.
