Had a mini-vacation and came back to the same mess. Florida secy of state speaks in 15 minutes. I personally buy David Boices arguments that the Judges decision forces SS to accept recounts beyond the 5pm deadline although that deadline does require existing numbers pending the recount. Florida SS is a Republican groupy in Florida. We will see if Profiles in Courage add another chapter or not. All she has to do is put a one week time frame on recounts so Bush could even jump in some counties. On the other hand, if she refuses to accept recounts I believe that Florida results will eventually be thrown out and Florida electors wont be participating at the Electoral college.
