><>..Paul, it sure is a tough thing to see, and as you say especially

if one is able to function mentally. It is even more disheartening when it is one of our loved ones..

Your grandmother must have some pretty debilitating physical ailments, and I am soory for that. Paul you do know though that there are "home caregivers", that can come into the home of the individual. But I'm sure you already looked into that.

Is she located in a home close to you or other relatives that can spend a lot of time with her?...You know Paul sometimes we hear too many unpleasant things about nursing homes, but there are very many good nurses and caregivers in nursing homes who have a lot of compassion and love for the elderly and physically disabled.
And don't forget, since your grandmother is in her right mind, she will tell you or other fm. members of any injustices, and then you can go from there.

In the meantime I would encourage her and bring to light the positives.! I suppose thee is not much more a person can do, except and praise God, it is the most perfect "excerpt"....Give it to God.!He will watch over her...

More times than not the patient enjoys their new life after settling in and getting over the "disruption" of their former lifestyle...

But Paul if you really are not satisfied in your heart about where she is, is there something else you can look into?

In any case my friend our prayers are with you and yours

Ps 86:1-10

1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

Love in our Lord Jesus
Shalom...><>
