I agree with much of what you say, however, I disagree on this. So far the time lag has worked in Amati's favor, at least the deployment lag. Had any telcos wanted to deploy before now, they would have gone with CAP. With ADI's chip out, they have a choice. Should the lag continue another couple months, the C6X and CG chips should be out in commercial quantities and the gap between CAP and DMT and between DMT amd DMT, vendor to vendor, closed. With a level playing field the true merits of the different DMT solutions will be judged on their own and not on something as ephemeral as availability.

In my opinion Amati as a story stock will disappear when the details of the Siemens contract are released.

Just my take.
