JW, do you really think that the Fed will start easing rates sometime soon. I agree that they must do this to avoid a recession next year. However, every time I read something from AG or hear one of his speeches he is talking about inflationary pressures lurking (ie. oil costs and labor costs). If Bush does eventually win, I think that makes AG even more reluctant to cut rates because of Bush's plan for a tax cut. The Feds next move must be to cut rates, but I just think AG is so determined to kill inflation that he will kill growth to ensure we have no inflation.
