I would just like to hear one of these glib talking heads on TV when they trash the PC/Computer Industry, when they talk about over saturated markets, when they say that everyone is heading toward wireless handhelds - I wish they could somehow signal to me that they are aware of the implications of IA64 on e-business data centers and database services. And:

As businesses replace phones, fax machines and people with highly customized automated services, this places considerable burden on database and data warehouse servers. End user populations grow, applications become increasingly personalized, and the reliance on database services becomes even more critical.

And, then if they want to glibly say the PC industry is over saturated and money can't be made in that space anymore.

Only then, I wouldn't agree, but I wouldn't be so angry over the vapidness of the talking head.
