DELL forward outlook negative, INTC downgraded, HWP misses earnings by 10 cents, If there is one thing I have learn on SI about Human Nature is the POWER of DENIAL.

ADI and SCMR reported great earnings and revised guidance higher. Yes, they are in DENIAL!<ggg>
In addition I guess AMCC, JDSU, PMCS, Cisco must also be in DENIAL! <g>
JDSU increasing revenue estimates to 115 to 120% gains for the year instead of the earlier 90%---they must be insane!<g>
Even NT has stated that their inventory situation is now back to normal after the buiddup late in the quarter.

Why are these companies not listening to Paul Sagawa, the expert in telco spending as well as in all other areas of technology!<g>

Remember that HWP did not have a demand issue and that is why the stock is rebounding--was just a buying opportunity yesterday. Revenue is more important than meeting EPS and missing or revising revenues lower. I think HWP's guidance is for slightly higher Revenue than some analysts had them at. Dell is just facing the fact that the competition is catching up to them.

I am actually looking to establish larger positions in fiber stock like GLW, JDSU soon.

You have to consider this----why are the PC stocks going up along with the semis--it could be that they have bottomed out.

Best of Luck.
