Comments like this do not lead to good debates. To me, debating the issues surrounding a company is what SI is all about. Listening to perma bulls and perma bears scream at each other is worthless in understanding the marked direction of a company such as CSCO.

For the last eight months the bears have been mostly right, prior to that the bulls have been right. I like it when both sides point out facts that contribute to the growth or decline of companies or their stock values. As they say two heads are better than one. The insights and opinions of others allows me to see changes in a company that I might not recognize on my own. For that I am grateful.

No matter what the stock price is now. Tomorrow it may go up or it may go down. I like to hear arguments for both, based on reasonable assessments of the given data. Even LTB&H investors should pay attention to near term changes, for they may indicate fundamental changes in a company.

Back to CSCO. I used to be a strong bull. However, CSCO does not seem to have the umph that it once had. Is this due to the market being in a rut, or is there some fundamental change in CSCO? So far I am undecided. I am still trying to asses the long term affects of CSCO many buying sprees. In the past they have been a major part in CSCOs success. But these acquisitions seem to becoming less important in the over all operation of CSCO.
