It seems to me Crowe has a point. It is also
rather amazing how Gilder's ``ascending'' technologies
have a short life span (a point made eloquently by Frank
Coluccio in earlier posts). Two years ago, TGNT
was ``ascending'' (even though observers of the BBFW
scene viewed it as a distant second to Winstar). Then
GG drops it in the nick of time, and now its almost
in penny stock range. The LVLT story is remarkably
similar (except that I don't expect it to come crashing
down). One month it is ascending and soon afterwards
it is descending. One of the two decisions was clearly
a mistake (or both).
