Sandeep..

In all honesty I think that media wanted to give this election to Gore, I was talking to my sis and she told me that in her Seminal County Longwood FL the elections in FL were given to Gore before the ballot closed in FL. Now one hand buses were being loaded and cigrette packs were offered 'buy' the Democrats on the other Bush voters were made to leave after hearing a premature result on what was a very clear major networks bias against Bush. Again, Bush acted very Presidential and asked the voters to stay back and keep voting he said 'to early to call FL'

Once that ploy failed and they realised that Gore did not carry FL rather Bush has it with a thin majority all this count--recount and manual recount started a creation of Democrat spin camp leader .

The question is as I have earlier expressed if this was not a close vote would it really matter, all these errors and omissions are part of the whole exercise of voting, how can one determine the true will when the network anounced Gore victory before the voting was finished, morally it had a demoralising impact on Bush voters and close call needs to take that into account too if equity is demanded by hte Democrats.. it is share lie to say that machine count has 5% error, in Voloushia county the difference of votes was 92 in the whole county after manual count, so that goes the whole argument of the 5% error, in Miama Dade they decided not to go for manual count after 6000 or near that votes revealed a difference of 6 votes only,, I think Palm Beach board by proceeeding with manual count has tried to interpret results a little better, they are seeing the light through the holes, but if it is for Fl it can be for the whole country, we have very misses in lot of other places.. I think ballot boxes as far as my mathematical prowess gg is concerned may give Bush hte edge he needs,, on Friday we will see I think Busg get 64% of the votes in postal Ballot, I have based my projection on Dole/Clinton election where Clinton carried the State, still in postal ballot Dole beat Clinton by much higher share, it may be little better this time, I would also assume that Miami Dade opting out of counting would help, in Plam Beach if Vloushia results are applied we get Gore ahead of Bush by may be 300 votes, they will find atleast 600 votes that have light through them.. but in 3500 of the postal ballots if we have even 60% for Bush we get 2050 for Bush and Gore 1450.., Bush will again come on top by nearly 300, this 300 has nailed Gore and will continue htat for a while, if Plam Beach gets more than 600 vote with light we have a problem but even with that I am comfortable so must be Bush camp,, no sleep is lost.. the biggest threat is now over, I think Gore manual count thing has broken an important support here and it is most probably going down.. if Gore wins as a result of postal ballot that would be end of the road for Bush anyway.. If older people of Plam Beach did not have the punching strength the Republicans mostly are old all over US why only to concentrate on a heavily democratic county..
