Dear Junior Balloon: The split occurs 12/5. As to Bush and the manual recounts, he is opposed on principal to hand counting when there is no evidence of machine failure. He understands statistics and how it all evens out. The Bush team has not tried to force ANY COUNTY to do anything it didnt feel proper to insure a fair and accurate count. JDN
