(Nasdaq: SRDX chart, msgs), a leading provider of surface modification solutions to medical device manufacturers, today reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended September 30, 2000. Fiscal year 2000 revenue increased 35% to $18.3 million from $13.5 million in fiscal 1999. Double-digit growth occurred across all PhotoLink(R) revenue categories, as each established new annual records. In total, PhotoLink revenue increased 60% for the year, led by a 73% increase in PhotoLink royalties. Income from operations increased 120% to $5.3 million, and net income was $4.2 million, or $.50 per diluted share, an 85% increase over the $2.3 million, or $.28 per diluted share, reported last year (excluding the reversal of an income tax valuation reserve totaling $2.1 million in 1999).
