Mike, I believe it's a difficult task, but I think that's a great idea. Here's my ideas for what constitutes the Fundamental scale:

The Fundamental scale will be based on the following, in declining order of importance, as I see it:

- growth relative to p/e ratio
- ability to meet/exceed earnings estimates
- improving/declining industry
- debt/equity ratio
- return on equity
- current ratio
- price/sales ratio
- position of p/e ratio and p/sales ratio relative to its historical
range.
- insider buying/selling

This is pretty much everything I consider before I buy. The T.A. is icing on the cake. But with this being essentially a T.A. thread, it might go the other way around, with F.A. being the icing on the cake. Now, the hard part is putting a number to all this data. If you've got ideas, I'm open to them.

Regards,

Rainier
