In my judgment this election is OVER. This morning I wake up and tune the TV from CNBC to MSNBC. I witness a proceeding before a Florida judge where, after a few minutes, I learn that the issue before the court was to ask the to "guide" the Palm Beach County Canvassing Board whether they could count a "dimpled chad" as a vote for a candidate. I found such a proceeding incredulous.

Irrespective of the issue argued before the judge, that being whether in-fact the issue was even properly before the judge, I find such a proceeding evidentiary of the lack of any integrity of what the PBC Canvassing Board is doing, and will certainly provide not only probative but convincing evidence to the Republicans, and to the court, that the manual count, particularly in PBC, is a sham and can only undermine the results of the election as determined by a machine count.

Can you imagine? This canvassing board wishes to count a vote on a machine card ballot that is NOT PUNCHED, but only indented as if the voter rested the pen on the hole, but decided NOT TO PUNCH it through. Even if you accept this argument and argue that these voters vote must be counted, then what about all the other dimpled chads not only in every other county in Florida, but in every voting district in the US.

Many here can spend the entire day here debating, arguing, covering the news. But I'm here to say, that IMHO (repeat mine only) this ELECTION IS OVER. It is just a matter of time before the Secretary of State certifies the results of the presidential votes cast in Florida, including the overseas absentee ballots; it is a just a matter of time before all these wranglings get before the Florida Supreme Court, and these issues are resolved in a judicial forum in favor of the results of a THE EXISTING CERTIFIED ballots now with the Secretary of State, and adjusted by the tabulation and certification of overseas absentee ballots.

Repeat, this election is over.
