Dear Cheryl: Honestly folks I am TRYING not to respond but Cheryl raises such an important point.

It's a little late now, but, what they should be arguing about in court is what constitutes a vote on a punch card and what doesn't. Once a "standard" has been set, then the votes could be run through the punch card counties (again) by machine. It's easy to batch test the machines before each run with a test deck to verify accuracy. This is data processing 101. We don't need all this hurly-burly going

This is SO OBVIOUS but for some reason HASNT been done. Personally I think it will take a Fla. Supreme Court ruling on what is a vote and that is the STANDARD FOR THE STATE to get it in place BUT right now each county is making their own rules and sometimes even changing them in mid stream. I know you all think I am lying but thats the truth.
All I have to say about this is I used to hate lawyers, MY OPINION HASNT CHANGED!!! I have a feeling if Charles and I who disagree about the candidates, could sit together we two alone could devise a fair recount for both parties. JDN
