Craig,Tom and John,
How great to see excellent posts like yours on this thread. Posts like these, and recently several others, present a compelling case for me to return to the Intel thread. It sure beats the nonsense of Ray W. and Shirley, of a few months ago.

I believe each of you have expressed the predominant reason to own Intel, MSFT, or CSCO, i.e. the growing global appetite, and NEED, to employ American technology.

It makes no difference in the long run whether a company earns a nickel more or less in a quarter, or meets its "whisper number". Sure for those of us who like to trade the market,(as well as invest), we can trade derivatives and play the irrational swings. But make no mistake, if you are a true investor, investing for the future, you have to always own Intel. There just is no other company like it. As I have posted many times on this thread, if you are an individual anywhere on this planet, and you want to do business with the rest of the world, you must own a computer, and more than 90% of the time that computer is going to be "Intel Inside".
