Hi Kumar, I don't have much knowledge about companies hedging their bets using Options for their stocks. I just hope they are within the guidelines set by the regulatory agencies. Well, its a plus for shareholders if they manage to earn money for their respective companies...

Usually, the market rises on---- the last week of the month and the first week of the next month after dipping during the second and third week (with expiration of Options as hi-light). With the stock purchase for AMAT employees due at the end of the month, then we should expect the rise of Calls!...

The Stock's Dip is shallow, as expected. Todays FallBack from the All-Time High of 72 to 68 1/2 (before bouncing back to 69 3/8) is just 5%. The AMAT Playing Field, measuring 5 points, is being moved Northward--- the resurgence of MU and INTC giving added Psychological Boost!...(The other Semi-Equips are being lifted also by the rising Tide)...
