I don't follow you. Certainly, there is nothing wrong with you declaring yourself a democrat, as you have done. There is nothing wrong with that at all. But you are a (fair minded) human being first, and a democrat second, aren't you? Surely, you recognize, that selectively recounting four predominantly democrat counties--prejudices, to the positive side, the democratic count--to the same degree that it prejudices, to the negative side, those predominantly Republican voters in their predominant counties, that are not being permitted the same priviledge of having their vote totals raised by a recount.

Is it not relevant to the question of fairness, that recounting Republican strongholds may or may not have been legally denied because of technicalities involving deadlines. It may be legally relevant. But I am speaking only of the fairness issue. Do you believe a Republican is less of an American than a democrat? Do you think a Republican is less of a human being? Why do you appear so gleeful that voters are being treated differently because of their party affiliation?

It doesn't matter who wins the God Damn election, now does it?? But it sure as hell matters when you start treating the votes of your citizens in different ways along partisan lines--not only in Florida, but right across the country. Those four counties were chosen in order to help the democrats. Well, Republican voters (indeed all voters), ought to have just as much entitlement to being helped as Democrats. They are all Americans; They are all human beings. This is a breakdown in democracy, and a serious one. That is nothing to chortle about. Voters are being treated differently. By counting votes twice (or 5 times), some citizens are, in effect getting a second (or fifth)chance to vote...while others are not. This is not about what bloody party supports your particular self interest. It is about the equality of citizens in a democracy. It doesn't matter what party you belong to. When you selectively choose to recount the votes of just one party (which is the essential reality of the populace being considered here), you increase the votes (by a more fine tuned mechanism), of that one party. You don't lose votes, as machine votes counted valid remain valid, except in the rarest of instances. Again, do you think it fair that these democrat counties get to increase their democrat vote count, when other citizens are not being accorded the same mechanism??

Who are important to you? All citizens of the U.S.? Or only those that vote Democrat??
