i read somewhere else that the probability of Robot's vote count increasing as much as it has is about as likely as being struck by lightning 30 times in a row in a single day. unfortunately i don't have the link to the article anymore...it was by a statistician too. the argument went that errors shouldn't favor one side statistically speaking, something that seems eminently logical without going into more detail.
it's a mess, yes.

as for the injunctions, since Bore has lost, he can only gain from a recount, and the opposite applies to Shrub. of course, if the SELECTIVE recount produces a Bore lead, Shrubs would be better off with a state-wide re-count...as he would then be the loser. only the loser can gain something from a recount.
