The tipping point, in my mind, was the NT earnings announcement where they let it be known that previously shipped systems were sitting unused in warehouses at the carriers. The reason given was a lack of field engineers. The reason there would be a lack of field engineers is a matter of the carriers not seeing it in their interest to pay up for talent in order to accelerate installations. Knee bone connected to the thigh bone connected to the b'bone. And if the general public wants to pay no more than $40 for DSL or Cable Modem and not $400 per month, then we have a limit to demand. Ipso facto.
