Hello all.. I had to take a break from US politics... it gets too emotional sometimes on here. (we should rename this the "Unmoderated AMD Thread - where we talk about everything BUT AMD)

i have a question i wanted to ask for thoughtful discussion:

I see Secretary of Florida State Harris said she was refusing to accept recounted ballots.. this announcement comes 5 hrs after the Florida Supreme Court voted 7-0 to refuse her request to stop hand counts... and a day after a district court judge said she could not act arbritarily and reject recounts out of hand. I am wondering from both sides of the debate whether this ploy doesnt look a tad obvious and partisan... and whether she rushed into doing something that appears to me anyhow to be ripe for a court to overturn her decision.. particularly in the Florida supreme Court.. where I understand most of the judges are of democratic appointee background. This appears to be as arbitrary as it gets.
