When the Florida Sect. of State announced her decision, Geraldo kinda went out of control nearly yelling over her ongoing statement that it was "subversion' and a "political coup," and that he smelled a dead animal and on and on. You would have had to have seen it to understand the idiocy of his conduct. Never did get to hear the rest of her statement and if she qualified her decision. Then "Buffalo Bob" Spence jumped in with more of his ridiculous stupid hillbilly analogies. Geeeeeeesh! Then Geraldo turned to a young reporter named "Chip" who was, I believe, reporting live from Tallahassee. Geraldo asked him what he thought about the Sect. declaring Bush the winner of the election and the young reporter replied that she didn't. Geraldo then read a few lines from her decision which stated that she had certified the vote from all the counties for both the Fla. elections and the presidential election. "Chip' then set Geraldo straight by explaining that she had only certified the votes that she had received and that the election still hinged on the absentee/overseas votes and that she HAD NOT said that Bush had won the election. too much is lost in my explanation, so you'll have to take my word that the show was, imho, a display of MAJOR bias and ignorance on the part of Rivera and Spence. CNBC gets worse and worse. El
