Ok, you want to use a different word? How about unethical. It was unethical because Gore knew it would not statistically represent the state vote accurately. Timely? Well, perhaps Gore was timely right out of the box with his 200 person legal swat team. But it remains to be seen if the strategy was smart for their candidate. If Gore and his team weren't so confident about spinning the unethical partisan hand re-count their way. Strategically, they would have been smarter to ask for a full re-count on day one. Asking for it this late in the ballgame, exposes them for the phonies they are.
