TWY, I think you are wrong about the Dade county. They did a sample manual count of 3 districts, and they found a couple of extra votes for Gore (less than 10 I believe). They missed the deadline submitting these extra votes and want these votes to be included in the total. Here is their letter: cnn.com They voted not to do a full hand recount. Broward county originally voted not to do manual recount, but Democrats sued them, and they reversed themselves and asked for a recount: cnn.com They said they couldn't do it earlier because one of the commissioners was on vacation and the whole office took Veterans' Day off. <g> I bet the Appeals Court or the Supreme Court will take it into consideration.
