I can't tell you how many times threads have been unhappy about what I say about a stock, I also can't tell you how many times the same people said I was right after what happen. I really don't keep count. I don't really care. I just so happen to come late to the NTAP party in bear market to boot. So I have been trading NTAP, but now I'm looking to go long like have various other stocks that have sold down to more reasonable levels. I stated my reason why I feel like I do about NTAP the stock. When you get right down to it no knows what level the market will award NTAP now that the rate of rev. increase reason has been removed. So I'm using my past experience from many years of watching the market. I would think a more reasonable multiple should be in order for NTAP, and that the rate of price appreciation will have to come back down to what it once was, that would be old trend before the end of the 1999 run. I mentioned 50's to half the current multiple before the sell off today. 50's so happen to be where there is large support too. It's also from my experience when a market moves so far from the historical trend they tend to move back to that trend, the same can be said about stocks. The move from October to January was uncalled for, for both the market and NTAP. The market has moved back to it's old trend now. NTAP has been so strong that it took time for NTAP to catch up with what was happening to the market from the slowing of the economy. So I feel NTAP needs to rest, grow in to it's current high multiple, or sell down to a more acceptable level. If NTAP were to go back to it's historic trend in short order, which every high growth stocks does time and time again, sometimes this happen fast, sometime slow, stockcharts.com[W,A]DBOLNYMY[DF][PB25!B50!B100!B200!F][VC60][IUC20!LB14!LF!LG!UA12,26,9!LJ[$SPX]] it should be priced in the 30's. I don't think that fast of correction to move NTAP to it's historic trend is going to happen. We have seen most of the quick selling in NTAP. But I do think it will happen over time now that rev. growth is slowing. All the above is noise to long term holders, I know that. I haven't seen the SI rule that stated that posters have to be long term holders to post, I have looked but I haven't found yet. <gg> So if anyone feels my posts are worthless, put me on ignore, you will be happy then and you will not have be tortured while I try to find a level to buy for the long haul.
