Treò
Want over 100 hours of audio in an eight-ounce package? The $399 Treò, due in the first quarter of next year, is a slim version of those multi-gigabyte MP3 "jukeboxes" that can weigh down your backpack. The pocket-sized player comes with a 6.4GB hard drive -- a 20GB version will also be available -- and offers updatable firmware that will stay current with whatever new file formats are dreamt up to replace MP3 and WMA. Hy-Tek claims approximately eight hours of battery life for Treo's rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which would be a significant improvement over previous digital jukebox players.
