i agree that this announcement is another meaningless alliance that tech companies like to do - i dunno why. i mentioned it as a cloud on nt's horizon before the zero-value details were given. neither's customers will waste time being unhappy about the fact that the two will use each other's products. no one can match glw's fiber quality, and only jnpr can make a better router than csco. so all their customers will stick - except the really bright, fast moving and flexible outfits switching - pun intended - from csco to jnpr.
