ABRAHAM LINCOLN was ELECTED by ABSENTEE BALLOT! This is not a joke folks. This is an historical fact! I'm just curious about one thing... Why are invalid / defective or unacceptable ballots NOT IDENTIFIED at the time they are turned in?If received by a machine receptacle, shouldn't it buzz or flash a red light, or DO SOMETHING? And if received by a human, shouldn't that person buzz or turn red, or DO OR SAY SOMETHING?! WHY THE HECK NOT?? This ain't rocket science... But it IS the most fundamental precept of a democracy. JMNSHO VAR
