Who?: Investors/Money Managers/Traders/Financial Institutions throughout the World

Why?: Very Poor Fundamental Economic Environment. Lower Dollar, Recession.

Would it be Legal?: Of course, it would be legal. Reducing hedges is as legal as initiating hedges. Buying gold is as legal as selling gold. Reducing leasing is as legal as increasing leasing.

You assume that the gold market is completely politically manipulated. It is not.
