SirRealist, would you please give us your opinions on what you think of the markets this morning. I can't get a handle on it. Last night the futures were up. . .Nasdaq futures were up perhaps 20 points or so by the end of AH. Then the Secretary of State called Florida "certified". . . in other words, they are saying that the election is
"officially" over there as far as the state government is concerned [and pending the count of the absentee vote].

Don't you think that should have given a boost to the futures market coming into this morning. But instead the Nasdaq futures were down about 65 when I awoke at 5:45AM. Central. Nasdaq futures have rebounded a bit. . .and are currently at -57 [34 points below fair value].

Why painted so low?

October CPI and core were both +0.2%. . . exactly what was expected. And the futures have not moved much since these were released. Shouldn't these markets be brightening up since the Florida announcment that pending absentee vote, they are finished? Or is there some other reason that suddenly today we should be looking downward? I can't think of any logical reason. And I appreciate any light you could shed on things.

Thanks much,
