Anyone see Jim Leher last night?
As I said last night, It was time for the candidates to speak, ask for the election, demand the election, whatever they were going to do. I predicted Junior George would not have the b***s to make his case for the presidency.
Well, you saw it, Jim Leher saw it, David Gergen saw it, Junior George W (for Wimp) Bush choked. After the statesman speech from Al Gore what did Bush have to offer in return? Nothing he couldn't even get his smirk on straight this time. All he could do is say I won't, I won't, I won't. No counter offer, proposal, or even meeting. He switched from hiding behind James Baker to hiding behind the skirts of Catty Harris.
