Julius:

I still hold FSNGX for steady as she goes in a storm - at least till the end of the year. FRESX has been plodding along without much volatility. You brought FDFAX to my attention and I moved into that instead of the money market.
Buying hot funds ready for spawning distributions would be dangerous for one's wealth. I ponder investors' negative reaction to health care stocks should Mr. Gore prevail, but it seems doubtful that any meaningful legislation impacting pharma or other will emerge
from the next Congress. The results of damages (even short term) on portfolios and in passive ones from the Markets downturn may influence thinking on a lot of things when the year end statements come in. (one month to go)

It's hard to check unbridled optimism especially on the part of politicians when they see a big pot on the table, and it's not their money. They'll even provide free chips to gamble with for those that are tapped out. Stay and play may not be the theme next term? Just my thoughts late in this game subject to change.

It's all fun and games they say. But the players on this board are using real money. Your lists are always timely.
